Fitch Consulting Inc. is located in Grand Island, NE and opened for business in October 2013 and is owned and operated by Jeff and Gina Fitch.  Both Jeff and Gina are Enrolled Agents (EA’s) which means we are tax practitioners empowered directly by the Department of Treasury to represent you before the IRS.  Unlike other kinds of practitioners, EA’s specialize solely in taxation.

Fitch Consulting Inc.’s predecessor company was owned by Jeff’s father, Gary Fitch, under the business name G A Fitch CPA PC.  Gary was in the tax and accounting business for over 40 years, and have worked with Jeff and Gina Fitch to ensure a smooth transition to the new business as Gary has moved into retirement.

Jeff graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1995 with degrees in Actuarial Science and Mathematics.  He worked for Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa for 14 years as an actuary focused on financial modeling, capital management, and financial projections.  After that Jeff worked at Aviva USA in West Des Moines, Iowa as their Chief Risk Officer and was responsible for the implementation of their Enterprise Risk Management Framework.  Jeff is an Enrolled Agent and specializes in small business tax planning and preparation.  In addition Jeff was a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and Chartered Enterprise Risk Management Analyst (CERA) and provided Actuarial and Risk Management consulting to insurance companies throughout the United States.  Jeff’s unique actuarial background gives him additional insight and perspective when it comes to complex tax related issues.

Gina graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Marketing.  Gina is also an Enrolled Agent and specializes in individual income tax planning and preparation as well as payroll services.  Gina’s customer service skills, organization and creativity have proven to be instrumental in a successful tax and accounting business.
